The job of Warehouse Delivery Driver - District is done for the purpose/s of assisting in maintaining warehouse operations including loading and unloading orders, stocking inventory; ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining warehouse layout; transporting orders over designated and on-demand routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles.

 

This job reports to the Purchasing Director.

 

Drives vehicles (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.); loads and unloads delivery trucks; maintains various files and records (e.g. inventory, purchase orders, schedules, requisitions, etc.); participates in physical inventories; prepares orders by pulling from stock; processes report requests, documents, mail, deliveries and/or materials; researches discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.); responds to inquiries of staff and vendors; stocks equipment and supplies; transports a variety of items (e.g. records/files, supplies, equipment, materials, bank deposits, mail, etc.) and assists other personnel as may be required. 

 

Experience      Job related experience is desired.

 

Education        High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Requirements: Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability

                      Criminal Justice Fingerprint / Background Clearance
